Conservation Architect for the Wyle ValleyConservation Architect for the Wyle Valley

My name is Edward Checkley and I’m a fully qualified architect, specialising in conservation work on listed buildings in and around Wyle Valley. I have lived and worked in the area for many years working for a number of well known local and national conservation practices before starting my own practice.

I have a broad spectrum of experience and have worked on a variety of projects across the Wyle Valley from historic but unlisted cottages in conservation areas, through to town apartments and up to grand listed country estates.

Whether your historic property is Grade I, Grade II or Grade II* listed, you may need an architect specialising in conservation in the Wyle Valley area, to guide you through the process of obtaining planning permission and listed building consent for works which you wish to undertake.

One of the questions clients across the Wyle Valley ask me is, do I need listed building consent?, do I need approval?

I can help with all aspects of these applications from the survey works through to a full submission, and help explain where approval is and isn’t required.
